Thanks to brother Billy Berardino for passing along this photo of Local 589 members who donated their time to drive members of law enforcement to the funeral for slain MIT police officer Sean Collier. MBTA Transit Police and the MBTA gave all the drivers a plaque and a BBQ at Transit Police headquarters. Click here for more photos.

Transit Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of spitting on an MBTA bus driver in Malden. Last month, Local 589’s President John Lee and Assistant Secretary Peggy LaPaglia joined Hillary Clinton at Boston Consulting Group’s 50th Anniversary celebration in Boston, MA.
