Tonight, the MBTA used the current Lechmere station for the last time. It shuts tonight and in 11 months or so, there’ll be a brand-new station nearby as the current tracks are extended towards Somerville. Local 589 President Jim Evers and VP Billy Berardino dropped by Lechmere tonight for a farewell pizza party. Click here …
