Earlier this month a regular internal audit uncovered irregularities in the Union’s treasury. The positive news for MBTA riders and taxpayers is that this exclusively involved Union funds – no MBTA funds and no taxpayer money was involved in any manner.

Menino urges new revenue for MBTA

ALERT: Fellow Union Brother Needs Help!
Delegate Patrick Hogan reports that Brother Jerome Tarter (Badge 67725) and his family were victims of a major fire that destroyed their home on January 22nd. Brother Tarter, his wife, son and daughter escaped unharmed but their home and all their possessions were lost in the fire.
