Throughout the 2026 election season, members of Boston Carmen’s Union Local 589 were actively engaged in supporting candidates who stand with working families, organized labor, and public transportation.
From campaign rallies and community events to meeting with candidates and elected officials, Local 589 members made their voices heard and demonstrated the importance of union involvement in the political process.
Members turned out in support of candidates who recognize the challenges facing working people and understand the vital role transit workers play in our communities.
