Thank you to Governor Maura Healey for taking time out of her busy schedule yesterday to stop by the 2026 MBTA Bus Rodeo and say hello to the men and women of Local 589!
During her visit, Governor Healey thanked our members for their dedication, saying, “I really appreciate all you do to move people around safely. You guys do a great job. I’m really proud of you.”
We appreciate the Governor taking the time to connect with our members and recognize the hardworking transit professionals who keep the Commonwealth moving every day.
