Remembering the nearly 3k lives lost on 9/11, including our former union brother Gerard “Jerry” Dewan

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9-11, including our former union brother Gerard “Jerry” Dewan. After high school, Jerry worked for the MBTA as an Arborway driver before moving to New York to pursue his dream of becoming a firefighter. His company, Ladder 3, was the first to rush into the burning World Trade Center. He was on the 40th floor of the first tower when it collapsed. #neverforgotten #oneofus
