I would like to congratulate President Hanley on receiving the Arnold M. Dubin Memorial Award. He joins a long list of prestigious recipients such as, US Senator Edward Kennedy, US Senator John Kerry, US Congressman Stephen Lynch, Governor Michael Dukakis, Lt Gov Tim Murray and many more.
President Larry Hanley works tirelessly to preserve the rights of ATU members across the US and Canada. He is an innovator in the labor movement with his efforts to build coalitions in the community, church, small business, senior citizens, ADA, environmental organizations and with our transit riders.
His Rockin the Transit World Internet Conference was genius. Bringing Thousands of members to a live event taking place simultaneously in Cleveland and Denver thru the Internet was a great way to involve our ATU sisters and brothers in a way never seen before.
President Hanley will continue to lead the ATU into the future with all the technology at his disposal to make sure that any sister or brother who wants to be involved, will have the capability to do so. I apploud you Mr. President on a job well done.
    John Lee
