Candidates endorsed by Boston Carmen's Union
Local 589 swept through two primaries and a special election all held on
September 25th
10/1/07 - In East Boston, Local 589
endorsed candidate Carlo Basile won a the special Democratic Primary for
State Representative. Basile, who outpolled three other candidates in
the special election, has a special final election on October 23rd.
In Everett, Mayoral candidate Joseph
McGonagle topped the ticket in a three-way primary that saw the
incumbent fail to make the final election. McGonagle has a November 6th
final election.
In Boston's District 9 City Council
Primary, Mark Ciommo placed first in a five-way race. The final election
is November 6th.
