State Transportation Finance Commission releases findings

3/28/07 - A three-year effort by the state's Transportation Finance Commission culminated today in the release of it's long awaited report "Transportation Finance in Massachusetts: An Unsustainable System."

The long-awaited report presents the Commission’s analysis of the Commonwealth’s ability to fund needed surface transportation improvements.  Following public discussion, the Commission will issue a second report that contains options and recommendations to address the issues described in this report.
